Equipment
______________________

Adis is an avid gear collector that puts all the equipment to heavy use - until complete destruction. Some of the electric guitars are heavily modified to personal preferences. A lot of guitars feature high tension strings (up to 15-gauge) and put heavy stress on the neck and frets. So life span of a lot of gear is usually 3 years or less depending on usage.  Besides numerous electric guitars, Adis is fascinated with a acoustics, amps, and few effects to enhance the tonal range.

ELECTRIC AND ACOUSTIC GUITARS
______________________

The guitars used for live performance are heavily modified.  The electric guitars usually feature slightly higher action than usual because this allows for the use of slide and also greater sustain since strings have more room to oscillate. Guitar pickups are either single coils (of various brands) or Seymour Duncan humbuckers. The guitars usually use 11’s but sometimes 13’s are used in order to achieve greater tension which works for slide playing.

GUITAR AMPLIFIERS AND CABINETS

A few stock vintage Marshall's, Fenders, and a beloved Rivera will do for now. Also a Fender Concert (Rivera engineered) is a prized amp in this collection, although it looks like it had some better days. There is also a Vanous head from the limited production amps from the 90's. And last but nor least, few Music Man heads that sound awesome.

GUITAR PEDAL EFFECTS, RACKS & OTHER GEAR
______________________

A stock collection of effect pedals from 70's on, few vintage rack effects (mostly 80's), a Roland guitar synth, and many other toys that get dusted off the shelf once in a while. Adis mainly plugs in and goes for it - basically whatever the setup is.  He usually cranks the mid on the amps - many times over average - and that does the trick for him.
